Parkview Services thanks you for joining us for a morning of food, community, and celebration of our inclusive housing programs across Washington State.
Last week, we gathered for a Fundraising Brunch at The Sisters Restaurant. It was successful by all metrics! We not only met our fundraising goal, but we exceeded it by $7,000! A true heartfelt "thank you" to the Parkview Services community for all of the support that we have received over the last few months.
Not only was it successful in raising funds, but more importantly it was successful in celebrating Parkview Services programs, clients, employees, and history! We heard speakers talk about the impact that our programs have had on their lives, elected officials talk about the ways that the government can support the work that we do, and a Camp Parkview camper share her love and adoration for Camp!
Finally, we were able to recognize Stella Chivers and her late husband Norman with our First Annual Community Spirit Award. Stella and Norman purchased the Parkview Group Home in 1967 and Stella was the unpaid director for the first seven years of existence. Please enjoy this video presentation of the award to Stella.
